Analytics Overview

The Analytics are designed to help you judge the effectiveness of ads and specific elements within each ad. Throughout the platform there several analytics and statistics data. Campaign Manager data: The dashboard is a great place to get data on the last ads and aggregated data on all campaigns. Brand, Campaign, Ad and Variation pages all allow to view relevant analytics. Apart from the campaign manager the analytics data can be retrieved by: 1) heat maps 2) CSV data Your Console To configure ad analytics to your ad server please visit the Instruction Page for more details on how to add tracking pixels to your tag or ad creative. User Data Glispa Create does not collect user data. In the event the Ad uses field and submit functions the data can be retrieved by clicking in the lead CSV field on the ad. Google Analytics if you have a Google Analytics account you can add your ad into it. This can be very handy when you would like to have another system looking at the data to avoid discrepancies. Statistics CSV File

Statistics generated for an ad or landing page can be downloaded as a CSV file and viewed as a spreadsheet. CSV files can be generate from Campaign, Ad and Variations pages in the Campaign Manager. Each section covers all of the activities of its related entities so for example an ad CSV file will contain all of the variations data.   Each CSV file can be downloaded in hourly, daily, and detailed daily formats.   Available Information Every line in the CSV indicates a time-frame – an hour or a day, depending on the report you generated. For each time-frame, the following information is presented: Viral: the number of viral impressions. Viral impressions are those generated by sharing the ad (via Facebooke, a link and so on). Served Impressions: the number of times the ad tag was executed. This statistics is reported before the ad resources are downloaded and before the ad impression is reported. Served Variation: for an ad with variations, counts the number of times this ad was selected as the variation to be served. Impression: the number of times an ad is loaded on devices. Understanding Heat Maps

Heat-maps are the way to visualize ad data. If you want to share with the customer please click on Open in new tap on the top right corner As sometimes you re publish the same ad the heat map can have different views for each published version and a combination of them all.   Please note that in the event of big changes in the ad between publish versions i.e. different widgets or different functionality the heat  map data may be inaccurate.   The heat map shows user interaction per page, and per widget, in color-coded display. The warmer the color, the more popular the widget in relation to other widgets. There is an overall heat-scale for a map at the right-hand side of the heat map. The highest number of interactions in the ad – in this case 21 – is automatically assigned to the red color, and all other colors are assigned by division until reaching zero interactions.     Page Percentages If you place your mouse over the page’s title, you will see the total number of views for that page. Benchmarks

Benchmarks (Beta) indicate how your ads are performing relative to others. You can access the benchmarks of your ad performance via the ad page. Click beneath the listed reporting data.   The Benchmark page opens, in which you can compare your ad results to others.   What is measured? Indicators and Units Your ad performance is measured regarding its CTR, Engagement Rate, Navigation Rate, and Video Completion Rate. Those indicators are compared to the following units: Campaign: compare ad results to the current campaign results. If in a campaign there are less than three live / pause ads, the section will be grayed out. Format: compare ad results to all other ads in the same ad format. The ad format is defined in the ad setup. Industry: compare ad results to all other ads of the same industry. The industry is defined in the campaign setup. General: compare ad results to all other ads in the platform.   What is presented? Reporting Upgrade

Reporting Upgrade

As of January 1st 2017, several of the system user interface (UI) and naming conventions will be changed to better streamline data. Naming Pending is now Editing in dashboard. Pause status is now Idle in dashboard. Dwell Time is now Time Spent in dashboard and CSV. Interact is now First Interaction  in dashboard and CSV. Navigate is now Navigation Rate in dashboard and CSV. Engage is now Engagement Rate in dashboard and CSV.   Reporting Timeline Throughout the various screens, each timeline is defined as 1 year back. This is currently NOT available in the heat map as various publish dates are still supported.   New Report: Daily Detailed Daily Detailed is a new aggregated report on Ad / Campaign level.  For more info please click here.
